The FMR 21V that revolutionized the world of 400m powerboat racing and claimed the Japan National Championship in 2004 and again in 2005 has evolved to an even higher level in the form of the SII.

Subtle but significant advancements evolved the 2004 FMR 21V into a faster, more advanced racing machine that allowed the SII to defend the title in 2005.

For example, the rate of change from stem to stern of the V-shaped angle of the hull has been completely revised. This has resulted in the bow holding firmer while hitting turns and also easier setting adjustments and more stable control characteristics.

In addition, a lower center of gravity is realized. The end result is the throttle can be opened up even more and higher cornering speeds are achieved through improved turning stability.

Another example is carbon material has been adopted across the entire bottom of the hull as well as some parts of the deck for increased rigidity and strength.

 All enhancements have been made with developing a race-winner and Kyosho is making a big splash in the world of pure powerboat racing with the FMR 21V-SII!

Carbon re-enforced surface of the strong FRP hull produces high rigidity design. Realizes increased high speed and turning performance.

Newly designed long-type machined duralumin rudder features a folding mechanism to prevent damage by bumping up out of the way if it comes into contact with anything in the water.

New hull bottom shape and specially selected components produce excellent high speed and turning stability.

Hull is beautifully finished in a black and yellow two-tone gel coat. You can even change to your own color style if desired.

Equipped with precision-machined duralumin floating engine mount (4 inch width).

Use of lightweight glass re-enforced nylon resin brackets etc. makes the boat about 500g lighter than comparable boats in its class. Weighs as light as 15-class boats.
