warning stripe, metal boiler ladders, numerous separately applied details, NEM
close coupler mechanism and pockets. Headights that change over with the
direction of travel. The silo container cars come in different versions. Metal

Prototype: German State Railroad Company class 17, 4-6-0 design, in the
paint scheme of the 1920s. Built starting in 1910 as the S10 for the KPEV.
Use: Express trains.
Model: Era II, diecast metal frame and body, detailed reproduction of
the Heusinger valve gear, NEM 8-pole digital connection, high-efficiency motor
with flywheel in the boiler, 3 axles powered through side rods, 2 traction
tires. Close coupling between locomotive and tender. Comes with NEM coupler

"
Prototype: Deluxe train of the Middle European Sleeping Car and
Dining Car Company (Mitropa) from around 1925. 6-axle dining car, with
teakwood outer walls, former CIWL car. Type L6 salon car, former imperial male
attendants’ car no. 3A. 4-axle sleeping car, with teakwood outer walls, former
CIWL car. German State Railroad Company type Pw4ü baggage car, Prussian
design.
Model: Era II, all 3 passenger cars have detailed interiors and interior
lighting. Many separately applied details both inside and out. Cars come with
NEM coupler pockets and close coupler mechanism. Total set length 924 mm /
36-3/8". Suitable locomotive for this train: Class 17 item no. T22522. This

T23313 Compartment Car Set
Prototype: German State Railroad types AB-21, Bb-21b and Pwi-23.
Use: Branch lines.
Model: Era III, cars come with NEM coupler pockets and close coupler
mechanism. Total set length 490 mm / 19-5/16". This model is being produced in
a one-time series only in 2001. The class 80 locomotive, road number 80 T22569
goes well with this car set.
T23314 Express Train Passenger Car
Prototype: Swiss Federal Railways older “standardized” design. Type
C4ü, 3rd class.
Model: Era II, with NEM coupler pockets and close coupler mechanism,
separately applied roof vents. Diaphragm connectors can be replaced by
“retracted” diaphragm connectors. Length over buffers 222 mm / 8-3/4". This
model is being produced in a one-time series only in 2001. This car goes well
with the model of the class Eb3/5 steam locomotive item no. T22567. A
three-part car set can be found in the Märklin assortment under item no. 42385
that will go well with this model.
T23316 Dining Car
Prototype: Mitropa type WR 6ü, used on the German State Railroad
Company. Built in 1906.
Model: Era II, with NEM coupler pockets and close coupler mechanism.
Interior lighting. Length over buffers 237 mm / 9-5/16". This model can be
used as an add-on to the Bavarian express train passenger cars with DRG
markings, item nos. T23765, T23766 and T23767.
T23317 Baggage Car
Prototype: Royal Württemberg State Railways type Gep express train
baggage car. Later the DRG type Pw4ü.
Model: Era I, cupola with windows, diaphragm connectors can be replaced
by “retracted” diaphragm connectors. Comes with NEM coupler pockets and close
coupler mechanism. Length over buffers 210 mm / 8-1/4". This model makes an
excellent addition to the Württemberg passenger train item no. T21216 from
1998. This model can be found in an AC version in the Märklin assortment under
item number 42128. This model is being produced in a one-time series only in
2001.
Between 1904 and 1911 Württemberg purchased 30 express
train baggage cars with diaphragms. These cars were for the most part the same
as the approximately 850 Prussian type Pw4ü cars delivered to the KPEV between
1902 and 1921. A characteristic feature is the center cupola with its raised
“observation seat”.

 
T23916 Freight Car Set
Prototype: 4 Royal Bavarian State Railroad freight cars and 1 tank car,
a privately owned car used on the Prussian State Railroad Administration.
Consists of:
- Beer refrigerator car, built in 1906
- Type Vomz(u) high side gondola, built starting in 1895
- Type H low side gondola, built starting in 1882, comes with 8
stakes that can be installed on the car, and a truck with metal band saws
as a load
- Tank car, built starting in 1909
- Type SSml platform flat car, built starting in 1901, comes with a
load of dressed wood
Model: Era I, cars come with spoked
wheels, with NEM coupler pockets and close coupler mechanism, metal truck made
of diecast and spun cast metal as a load, load for the platform flat car made
of real wood. Total set length 628 mm / 24-3/4". This model is being produced
in a one-time series only in 2001.
T23975 Tank Car
Prototype: Type Zacs with funnel flow tank and ladder on both sides of
the tank at the center of the ladder. Privately owned car, used on the German
Railroad, Inc.
Model: Era V, comes with an open frame and integrated NEM coupler
pockets and close coupler mechanism. Brake system, brakeman’s platform and
work platform are separately applied parts. Length over buffers 180 mm /
7-1/16".

T23982 “Carbide Cylinders Car” Car
Set
Prototype: Privately owned cars painted and lettered for SKW Trostberg,
used on the German Federal Railroad.
Model: Era III, 2 cars in different versions with different car numbers.
Metal side sills. Finely detailed construction with open car floor. Separately
applied data boards. Removable carbide cylinders with detailed reproduction of
the rivets and openings. Cars come with NEM coupler pockets and close coupler
mechanism. Total set length 290 mm / 11-7/16". This model is being produced in
a one-time series only in 2001. This model can be found in an AC version in
the Märklin assortment under item number 48250 as a four-part set with other
car numbers.

Prototype: German Federal Railroad type SSw 07 and Sm 24.
Model: Era III, cars come with NEM coupler pockets and close coupler
mechanism, loaded with mining cars such as are used at the Zollverein
Coal Mines. One car loaded with shoring timber. Total set length 558 mm /

1962.

Prototype: 5 privately owned cars, used on the German Federal
Railroad.
Model: Era III, weathered cars, loaded with real coal, cars come with

mechanism. Total set length 677 mm / 26-5/8". This model is being produced in
a one-time series only in 2001.
T23994 Depressed Center Flat Car
Prototype: German Federal Railroad type Uai 839. Built in 1973.
Use: Very heavy transport.
Consists of: · The largest H0 freight car to date from Trix: scale length of 720
mm / 28-3/8". · Metal goose neck girders, truck bolsters and
freight load consisting of a transformer. · Many separately
applied details · Load is mounted on the car with side play just
like the prototype. · Center wheel sets on the trucks are spring
loaded. · Car can be used “close” coupled without its load.
· In the color scheme when it was placed into service in
1973.
Model: Era IV, car has 32 axles, comes with NEM coupler pockets and
close coupler mechanism, Schnabel girders and a diecast metal transformer as a
load. Length over buffers 720 mm / 28-3/8". This model is being produced
in a one-time series only in 2001. Important information about the operation of this car:
This car can be used on curved track with a minimum radius of 360 mm /
14-3/16”, but we recommend larger radius curves. Due to the overhang of this
car’s goose neck supports and its load, signals, catenary masts, bridge
railings, tunnel portals, etc. must be set out further from the curved track
for clearance. The track must be well mounted for the high weight of the
car.
T42224 Passenger Locomotive with
Tender
Same as item no. T22570, but in an AC version with a Märklin digital
decoder with control features. The minimum radius required for operation is

Based on the prototype of the Zollverein Coal Mine in Essen built
starting in 1929/30.Model: Eras II-V
Challenging building kits, about 70-80 hours required to assemble both
kits. The buildings are constructed as modules, and the individual latticework
segments and window elements can be combined in different ways as required.
Detailed multi-language instructions for assembling these kits.
Total area for the entire group of buildings is about 800 x 650 mm /
31-1/2" x 25-9/16".
Height of the pit frame: approx. 490 mm / 19-5/16".
T66102 Part 1 of the building kit contains the shaft house, the pit
frame and the tub circulation.
T66112 Part 2 of the building kit contains the two sheds for the
hoisting machinery, the conveyor belt hopper tower, two diagonal belt bridges
and the coal washing equipment.

T66103 Kit for a Coal-Fired Power
Plant
Kit for a model of a power plant Bausatz with a boiler room, track
siding and smoke stack. Many detail parts included for the roof. This kit when
assembled is interesting and impressive to look at from any angle due to its
braced construction. About 10 hours are required to build this kit. Area of
the finished kit 352 x 254 mm / 13-7/8" x 10". Height of the building 330 mm /
13". Height of the smoke stack 457 mm / 18". This model is being produced in a
one-time series only in 2001.
T66104 Kit for a Coking Plant
Kit for a model of a coking plant with a battery of ovens, quenching
tower, storage bunkers, smoke stack and conveyor belt bridges. This kit when
assembled is interesting and impressive to look at from any angle due to its
design with several individual buildings. This coking plant can be used with a
steel works as well as with a coalmine. The buildings can be arranged in
different ways depending on the available space. About 10 hours are required
to build this kit. Required space for all of the buildings in the kit is about
700 x 400 mm / 278" x 16", depending on how they are arranged. Height of the
smoke stack 355 mm / 14". This model is being produced in a one-time series
